you can better use a 99% HR mirror.
always less lost than a digro filter..

    your mirror look like digro

when i see this i think change and put normal hr mirror.
but maybe i mistake, i never see yellow mirrors.
if this is a mirror not a digro, then this mirror will reflet yellow light mutch better then bleu light!!!

I think its time to comment on this thread since people are fishing about what happens. First of all it the Dichro,s are blue mirrors from laserwave. They are bought from rob stanwax and ordered by 300evil. No point of selling mirrors when rob can sell them too. The setup is build by 300evil and he did a fine job. Although i didn,t build it the stacking systems is my design and so i felt that it would be best that i had a look at it when it will be send to me. Carlos needs a red anyway so i,m happy to help.

Oh joost , it might be a good idea to do some research about mirrors before making people nervous weither the right mirrors are fitted.
Building modules and selling complete systems are 2 completely different things so maybe its good to stick with that until more knowledged is gained.

Well don,t know about that but i,m sure the only one who is crazy about stacking beams instead of doing lasershows in the netherlands. I only care about divergence, beamsize ,alligment stabilty and everything else that has to do with stacking beams. What, i don,t even own a projector

But that will come one day

well, the reason im asking for help, is because after waiting for 10 months for these lasers to arrive,
they finally did, i ordered 2 quad modules, and 1 is doing 2.5 watts , the second module is doing 1.5 watts, and the temerature drops to .5 watt,
after further investigating, i found that the reason its dropping in power , is because 1 of the 2 tecs, is open, thus causing the module to overheat.

the module is a very nicely engineered unit, but the the build is lacking.... i dont think they were properly adjusted.

ive been very patient, but after sending multiple emails to the builder (from the groupbuy), and multiple phone calls, im lucky to get 1 response, for every 10 emails sent.
im done trying to get help from the builder, so i need to figure these out for myself..

another thing.. i paid for a complete unit, expecting approx. 4 watts, but what i ended up with , was a bunch of crap.
im not really savvy with building modules, nor do i have the time to spend with these kits, that is why i paid to have them built in the first place!, but it looks like i have no choice.

its really disturbing to see PL members. selling products on here, but are totally rude, when the product fails, and you ask for assistance, only to get no response in return, had i known , i would have simply purchased from a professional manufacter!

i appreciate the people on here offering advice , on what the cause may be, and i understand this is not Edisons fault, nor am i blaming him.

i just wanted to post this, so other members, are more carefull, on who they do business with.

I can understand your frustration. Like i mentioned in your PM i,m happy to fix your quad when you are planning to order a red as a service even if i,m actually not to builder of the unit.
If you send it to me i can fix the unit and send it back to you as a partially service when ordering a red.

For example, whatsupadrian bought also a quad kit and build it. He wasn,t satisfied with the result. I also didn,t build it but i felt kind of sorry for him and swapped it for a 6 combiner

Don,t worry about this, what ever the problem is with your build i can fix it. I call the service from the house

So just let me know when you want to go red and ship it to me so i can fix it

    Problem solved

My first hunch is thermal issues. Check these items:
-Is the Flexmod attached to a suitable heat sink? Does the transistor get too hot to touch during operation?
-How are you dissipating the thermal load of the TEC? For every watt of heat you remove from the module via a TEC, you've got 2 to deal with on the other side. Some bigger pictures of your setup would be helpful.
