Kiyoukan's compact dual diode setup
114mm long, 45mm tall, 66mm wide.

Lens holder made by 3d reprap printer.
Will be selling lens holders once testing is done.
Drop in the holes and add tiny dap of glue to the side and done.

To get the above beam specs a 2mm EFL diode lens is needed.

Setup and other information
To correct the diode you are looking at 84$ worth of optics plus shipping.
The methods shown above use vertically stacked lasers beams knife edged, Then sent into correction optics.
The nearfeild beam will be 4mm square with a Divergence of 1.05 mRad
Dual diode setups driven at 750ma, output around 1W
Quad diode setups driven at 750ma, output around 2W
These diodes can be driven harder for more power they are similar to the 445nm diodes in that they are very strong diodes and when over driven instead of just dieing they will start to dim. most of the time they come back to life and you know to turn the current down
Adjustable mounts
I am getting some adjustable mounts made for holding the mirrors.

These would be made from 6061 aluminum and have m2 0.4 threads
Price: 12$ if order total is 50 or 9$ a unit in an order of 100
The lead time to get them made would be around 18 days.

For those who want these made of brass that is an option and will be voted on.
Brass is more expensive so cost is higher.
Also The thermal expansion of brass is similar to that of aluminum, however aluminum / 6061 has a higher thermal conductivity.
This means if you set your lasers at 70F the brass will stay solid at higher temp's and cooler temps, if your projector is temp stabilized (not able to go over 110f or under 42f) this will not be much of a issue. were talking maybe 1mm at around 20 meters if you have some crazy temp.
When setting any mount you should run your projector to make sure the base plate is at normal operating temp then tune the adjustable mounts.
So if you pull your projector out of a freezer it might take a few min of running for it to warm back up and back to alignment.

Well i can get them made from brass is people so chose.
I made a few from plastic and aluminum and i have a brass one that was given to me.
The plastic would be very very cheap after the mold price but after some testing i was not super happy.
The aluminum one worked very well just the same as the brass did.
Granted my design is different due to limited tools that i had.
There is the argument of thermal expansion with the 2 different metals but when i did my setup they were both right next to a tec and when it heated up the base plate none of them shifted.
If i remember these have been made before from aluminum and were anodized red.

I'm not trying to "bust your chops" here..... But aluminum is the wrong metal to make your mounts from. They are not going to be stable. Also, how are they not flex mounts?

They have been made from aluminum before with good results from what i was told these reds ones were made from them

And they are not FLEX mounts because that is a product name, these are made differently and are not direct drop in replacements.
They work on the same principal, and i dont want to call them flex mounts as to not confuse them with any product on the market.

Trust me aluminum is not what you want. Aluminum has a property called creep or cold flow. This property is increased when the metal is under stress like compression or temperature cycling. Lots of force is exerted from the screws. It may not be a big deal on a dicro but try putting several diodes together in a combiner and a little creep throws you out of wack quick. There is a reason why all the mounts you see in high end diode combiners are brass.
i think flex mount is just short for flexure mount.

Umm, am I missing something here? The lava lens setworks perfectly with the 635's and is cheaper? It's smaller too, which is a good thing.. Do we really need to reinvent the wheel?
