I've mounted one of Dave's lenses, it's not that bad. I think I put just 3 tiny drops of epoxy after it's already dropped in the retainer (without getting it on the surface of the lens). Glad to hear that the shipping has started. Going to go order some P73's now. Hope they work with these optics. If not, the G71s will have to do.. either way 1 watt of 638 red is going to be funz

or, to make this absolutely clear, the FLAT SIDE of the lens should face the DIODE

What are these lenses coated for? I see on the op that the cyl are AR vis broadband but didn't see info on Dave's. Dave, red only or ?
