I am alive just working threw a overload of work.
And holidays are going to keep me busy till they are over.
More to come soon i hope with updates for many projects going on atm.
From some super cool (0c) diode builds, fully digital galvos, some optics stuff, 100W analog laser driver, simple and cheap TEC driver,
Going to be on the road again for a few days going to try to keep more updates coming.
Looking back on this, I think this is pretty strange. This was posted in June. What holidayS, July 4? For someone so overworked these now seem like ridiculous goals. What is the purpose of these projects if the audience has dried up.

I guess that some people have the gift to think really wide too, when he said "a few days"...

If you wanted great customer service and fast lead times why didnt you get a kvant or similar?

I don't see the point of all this public slagging take it to PM or Email. I don't care if you have to board a flight to Spain to work on your tan for the remainder of your holidays.

All you seem to do is winge publicly (i dont want to flame Borgqueenx or be an ass).
LOL, let me translate the parenthesized finish: (i dont want to do what I just did or be what I am being)
(with all do respect) What a prick (no offence intended).
You have my sympathies Borg. I have been gone through a similar situation with a GB and lost out on $300.

Still no word from Kiyoukan then?

Just wanted to say that somewhere in one of these threads it has been said that you can cut these lenses in half, we'll I tried it and was successful.

Hi, Heres the response I sent to another member,

No problem, I got myself a diamond disc cutter from ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1906126616...ht_1913wt_1110) don't know if it the same as yours. I don't own a dremel but I have a pneumatic die grinder, which I guess is more of an industrial version of a dremel. I then placed the lenses individually in a small bath of water, I used an old cat litter tray. Raised the lens so it was on the top of the water leaving a small amount covering the lens. the lens was supported on a piece of wood, I used a second piece of wood to hold the lens down to stop it moving. then comes the cutter gently applying pressure as the dremel is running. Just make sure not to allow the lens to move as you cut it, and prepare to get wet as the water goes everywhere, a small price to pay thou. Honestly it goes through quit easily just mind your fingers, I hold no responceability should you attempt this.
