this is a 30+ pound of coprolite in my kitchen, right next to a 3' tall amethyst geode.
Hope you washed your hand after poking that Dino Poo!

hello LSX fellows,I bought the lsx payshow pack. Trying to open the shows I am asked for a password. Does anyone know where I find this password? I tried my name, my individual serial code, a handwritten number on the packet, but nothing worked. While waiting for a response of dr. lava I keep asking whether anyone of you knows where I find the password for the payshows? thx and cheers

Check the PayShows.txt file in the Global LSX Files >> Shows folder. I believe these shows require a password to open. The standard shows only require a password to edit.

Sorry, I can't help you. Just out of interest, do you have a list of the shows you got?

Swamidod, thanks for sharing your abstract show! It's looks amazing! I tested it on my new laser, and I could not look away.)))

Your show from 7.30 in this video:

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

How to create a floating sinewave made of points using SFX Loop

Start by creating a frame consisting only of 1 dot.
Insert SFX Loop event and insert Animation event with the dot frame.
Insert PreMoveX transformation and set the Type of Animation to Expression "Loop"
Insert PreMoveY transformation and set the Type of Animation to Expression "sin((loop+etime)*10*pi/3)/8+0.5"
Set the duplicate count to 10. This creates a sinewave consisting of 10 dots.

These tutorials look great and am thinking of getting the software to learn and go through the steps in this thread.
However is there a quick fire way of projecting an inbuilt library of animations or effects. It would be nice to see some easy results like in quickshow live while i learn...
Sorry if there is an obvious answer and i've missed it..

Yes, but I didn't give it much attention. It's hidden somewhere in the more "advanced" videos, in retrospect I should have mentioned it much earlier.
On the left, there is a "SFX" button, with a lot of preprogrammed effects that you can click, which will preview on the laser.
