I am using the usbmicro 401 I/O device that adds ttl support for 16 channels per timeline. I currently assign a static effect to the timeline that triggers this.

Anyone have a midi-remap save for an apc 40? Having trouble getting some of the grid (8x5 gid) pads recognized. They show up as same key # but different channel #s in midi remote settings with auto-map. When those pads are pressed in timeline, only the leftmost pad on each grid row is triggering a key I could remap in the settings... Would help to have a midi remap (import/export) file and sample live show setup for this control surface... Thinking I may need to use an external app to re-map some of the un-recognized pads to the keys recognized in lsx? Is there something I'm missing about midi channels in lsx?

It looks like only my hardware keys that register in Channel #0 are being used in live show, even though I've mapped the other keys on other channels.

Odd, I tested it out and it didn't appear to work, but suddenly it did. It could be I did something wrong the first time though :P I'm using Reaper with a virtual MIDI port to send signals.

Looks like the same thing here, I finally got it working after some fiddling. Looks like I needed to save midi map, restart my machine, and rescan midi devices. After this, it appears to be working for me now!! Wahoo, this is awesome with the live demo shows supplied, can't wait to start making my own live shows once I get the hang of this!!!

Ok I should know better than to post being as tired as I am, but curiosity is making me. On the live pages right now (masterbeam) using the ones that came with LSX is there a way to disable the PC keyboards function that switches the cues by the keys. Would only want it to switch via the mouse clicks or external midi.

Thoughts? I ask as I use the keyboard keys 32 of them to map control ttl outputs. It works but had a dual effect right now. The cue on the live page and my ttl function triggers with the single key press.

Hope this made sense. Thanks again for the help earlier tonight CMB.

Sure made sense, but I'm afraid I don't think there is a way to disable the keyboard keys as of now... Definately something to ask drlava when he gets back to programming again!

I figured out what causes the "ding" I was talking of and then effectively disables the keyboard for control. If you mouse click in the masterbeam touch screen control window the text at the top will turn white and all the cues are then only controlled by mouse clicks. The keyboard gives you an error ding and does nothing to switch the cues, but does control the TTL lines. So I can use that method and have what I want, I do not playback audio from LSX in most cases. Especially if I'd be "live".
