Haha - it looks good until you try scanning it

My Shpongle track scans a lot better than this one but I have some ct6800s that I need get into a projector type configuration and test what I've done so far.

I'm not at home at the moment but when I am I'll let you know how I did them. 2.17 was certainly using a rend to frame and then using the resulting frame in an sfx loop with a loop-phase type expression..... don't hold me to that though - it's 5am and I'm not exactly sober!

Glad you like it swami - but as you say, I need to get my single mode built before I carry on playing with lsx - then some nice 5 Watt beamers which may actually earn me some money this year

Tried out Galvonauts suggestion of using loop*sin(phase) on some of my existing patterns. I thought this one was cool. Hopefully I will get a chance to play with more today.

Ok, more detail on these 2 effects.

1.10 is a simple diagonal line with curves at top and bottom - you could use any shape of course though.
This is all within an sfxloop with a duplicate count of 12.
Size xy linear from .25 to .5
A little 3D control - not sure how I can transpose the info in this here though.
    A premoveX -.5 to 0 linear
The loop bit is simply a loop*phase in a RotateX
    World rotateZ sin(phase*etime)
Then some modulate RGB with red disabled, green cosine, blue sine.

Now, 2.17 is pretty complex. It doesn't scan well but I'll work on that once I get my ct6800 up and running.

The base image for this is a squashed up sine wave that looks like a 'w' this is in an sfxloop with duplicate count of 3
    Rotate z with loop.
Size xy .2 to .2 linear
    World rotate z idx+phase
    Word rotate z 0 to 1 sinewave
    premove x -.5 to .5 sinewave

So - when I'm creating these effects, I often stack 'em up - hence 2 rotate Zs
Under this sfxloop goes a rend2frame, then under this another sfxloop with the source as the rend2frame slot.

So, for this loop to get that slow expansion I used a rotate z loop*phase/8
premovex -.25 to .25 sine repeated 16 times
    premovey as above but cosine
sizexy .5 to .9 sinewave repeated 8 times
    then colour effects.

    Very nice

It's fun using phase and etime - can't wait to get my teeth sunk into lsx again!

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
