works well if you want to make your graphics change on regular beat.

Also, i dont know how to do the rend2frame trick. i understand it takes everything above it and every frame writes it to a CAT frame. but i dont know how to make my transform events below it to affect that cat frame...
rend2frame writes everything into one CAT frame, which changes in time. You cannot further manipulate that frame. However, if you do this you can take that frame and put into animation event, which you can manipulate as any other animation.

In picedit there is a 'Picture editor" icon in a toolbar right under 'File'. when you click it you get the CAT framelist. If you switch to other frame and click 'animator->editor' it will let you edit other frame. hotkey is ctrl+LMouseButton on the want-to-edit frame.

I've noticed that my galvos curves the lines after blanking if running in LSX.
made a picture like | | | | |. My vertical lines were curved. then I changed blankings to visible and vertical lines straightened. I tried to find some optimization options to correct it but with no luck.
Did anyone of you have such problem?

it was done by generating an effect with the lissajous editor, then performing a z-axis clone on the effect and adding world x/y/z rotation events and color modulation.

Time 1:31. How was that done? its soo cool.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

there's no tutorial for that effect (that's my show you linked). there are some tutorials about performing z-axis clones. try to find the link to my presentation at SELEM . that will cover the basic principle.

i'd say, make blue constant and modulate red in the way you want pink to be displayed...

right.. in the color modulation event (i'd use color modulation post), turn off green. set blue and red to constant/expression. then click the expression button and change your slider values.

Can anyone explain why sometimes, when creating independent SFX it saves CAT picture for itself, and sometimes it doesn't? I mean, when I load my own created SFX some of them bring in their own CAT frames into used catalog, and others don't bring in anything and has just empty frames instead... probably it depends on saving somehow, though I haven't figured out how.. and I've already lost some really usable effects..

it's probably still loading the frames into the CAT, but it might not be putting the frames in the expected slot. LSX slides them around a little to make sure you don't overwrite existing frames. scroll through all the frames in your CAT and see if it's there. it might be at the end.
