    Thanks for alll the posts=
I guess it would be a PITA to run two Sats with Spaghetti for beams only while trying to sync a main PJ running QS..yes?

It wouldn't be too bad. Probably have to do the "3,2,1 go" trick to get them going, but as long as both shows are synchronized to the music well you'd be ok.

Thanks! I need to spend a little time digging deeper into Quickshow but, this will be a big help in that direction.

TBH I think you'll be making it far harder for yourself trying to run 2 sets of software, and the cost of a 2nd laptop equals the cost of 1 x QS. Every time you want to make a change you're going to have to hop between the software.

As DNAR said, if you're mirroring the satellites then you only really need 2 x FB3-QS, 1 for the main and 1 for the sats plus a splitter and some way of inverting the signal if you one of your sat projectors doesn't have a built in switch.

The best way to dig into QS is download a demo and have an extended play. At 1st it seems simple then as you dig you find more and more. Like anything it does have its limitations but its sufficiently good that many small time pro's are using it as well as hobbyists.

You can get the demo here: http://www.pangolin.com/_Files/Setup_QS2_Ev.exe

Just wanted to add, don't forget the usefulness of Quick Capture for when you want to run different cues to the main and sats but have them start and finish simultaneously.

Agree on this, or you would need a double screen, but remember we are men, we can't multi task hehe
another aspect that makes a custom lasershow special is that the projectors are synchronized together (you'll notice even the slightest non-synchronized shows)

most ILDA splitters are already mirrored on the X-axis: http://www.laserwinkel.nl/images/shop/DSC04991.JPG see that the red wire is twisted on the end. so no need for an inverter on the projector
