I have just purchased some rgb lasers with an sd card reader that reads the ild files. We can completely control it via our dmxconsole. I am on the road at a show so i cant tell you the manufacturer right now. What my question would be to the group is what is the best software out there to make some cues and output it to ild files so we can add the laser effects to our existing moving head shows? I have downloaded nearly all ofthe demos out there and am really unsure what my next purchase is going to be.
Thanks in advance, I look forward to your opinions.

thanks for the input mark, please do let us know as soon as you get the chance.

in terms of software... it all boils down to personnal taste i guess. it is a matter of which interface makes you be more productive and facilitates your expressing yourself

I'm also looking for a small stand alone player too, I emailed Ihor of Riya, will report back if I get hold of a DAC there!

I do have the RIYA Micro, Basic, and Pro available, all have SD card playback capability, but currently only from palette-based ILDA files. If that serves your need, send a PM!

    thanks Andrew!

This is more like a "what is out there" thread. I was hoping there could be some sort of box cheaper than a dac, but this does not seem to be the case

Maybe a proper dac is a better all-arounder
