Default Second time out as a laserist :)

Hey guys.. (i guess there ain't many girls hanging out here :P )
I had a chance to make a small laser gig in a local nightclub here last week and i took it.
Normally i just dj and the laser thing is just a hobby of mine, but i had to take the chance to try out my 3 projectors all together.

Here´s a video, nothing complex, i was using my ipad to control them with an app called Lemur and the software is from Pangolin

Just wanted to share it with you

I never get tired watching lasers. Music, strobes,LEDs and mirror balls are nice especially when they are well integrated, but when you add LASERS... it just changes. Up more than a notch, it makes me think rock concert, New Years, royal weddings etc.

Nice job. Were the promoters impressed?

Cool! Glad I am not the only hobbyist "coming out of the closet" to perform in public. lol.

You can see in the first video, the yellow beams, your red/green alignment is a little out. Maybe you have not seen this before projecting at closer range at home. I have found venues to be ideal for performing alignment as they have the distance!

BTW, I don't see any gorgeous Swedish Blondes in the videos!!!! We want Swedish Blondes!
    This space for rent.

Thanx, yes the owner of the club seem to be impressed, they are going to build another club next to this one and hopefully they will hire me to throw some techno parties there

Good luck with it in the future!

I setup, line up the projectors and then leave them running some white beam fans for half an hour until the projector is thermally stabilized, then I check the beam alignment and readjust if necessary. The beauty of the Edison/Mr Willing case is you can drop the front panel by removing just 2 screws, tweak and refit very quickly...

Thanks The 2 lasers on the sides are from Winni @ Goldenstar, indeed they are 1W's and the center projector is a 1,2W from rasha, i'm thinking of replacing the cheapo scanners in the center projector to DT40 Wide as soon as im allowed to spend money again

By the way, do you know what the latest build of Pango's beyond is? Did they add OSC protocol yet?
