    Default CNI OEM PSU Settings?

Tonight after replacing a failed LOC, and lining up my main RGB projector, I noticed my 300mW CNI MGL-III-532 module was producing a TEM10 beam...

It's been good for 12 months, now it's TEM10 all of a sudden after 10 minutes of running. The module feels cool to the touch.

Does anyone know what each trim-pot on the OEM PSU controls? I am feeling I have nothing to loose by tweaking the TEC control loop (or reducing the IR LD drive) to see if I can get this back to TEM00.

    Thanks guys.

Thanks Man, I'll give it a go, I feel the Crystal TEC needs a tweak. Stay tuned.

You have to be close, VR3 is absent on TTL units, so this makes sense at least.

    Sweet, this helped a lot!

Although not a perfect TEM00 beam, the "peanut" is now much smaller after turning VR1 (Crystal TEC) clockwise 3 full turns. I didn't have the nerve to go any further!

Beam profile is now acceptable. I think I need to go for a good 640nM module and upgrade the 532nM module to at least 500mW (from 300mW).

The green would still be in warranty? Even if it isn't and you can get away with the downtime, CNI tend to be great at repairing at a minimal cost..

There is the crunch. I have a minimum of 2 regular shows booked each month. In April I have 4 shows (one of them in a cave!!!). I can't afford the down time. I might just buy a 500mW Green and sell this one off.
