    Default KAM 1750 Smoke Machine

I need to purchase a larger smoke machine for some larger gigs end of next month.

Does anyone have any comments or experience with this one:

    Cheers.

    Hey Dnar,

Ummm, for that money it can't be too bad... but I'd be surprised if it was that good though...

Kam are ok, but used to be considered 'cheap disco tat', just a bit better constructed than the usual Chinese stuff... But saying that, this looks like one of the "Made In China" ones, so without actually trying it out I'd be a little wary of it...

You could try looking for a second hand Jem/Martin or Le Maitre machine or maybe even an Antari?
Smoke machines tend to either work or not, so buying second hand is usually not too risky as you can generally say it either makes smoke or it doesn't )

    Hope that's helpful...
If in doubt... Give it a clout?

second what wookie said... it's cheap enough that I might give it a shot but then again, that's how I've ended up with my "big ass pile" of foggers/hazers. Better off searching for a used, higher end product. A great looking JEM sold on eBay the other day for about $225 and it was a steal.
