    Great Dave!!!

With this price it makes no sense to design and build your own scanfail, IF it works.

Which version did you order? I think V1 is suitable enough when using pangolin.

(Dave I have received the galvo mirrors and have 50mW (10%) more white light, thank you)

I ordered V1. Didn't really see myself setting more than one zone anyway. I cant imagine setting up many zones at every show!!

Good to hear the mirrors arrived safe and sound too

As soon as the board arrives, Ill update this thread

Are you sure about that? Many of the beam shows that come with Pangolin use projection zone three for bounce mirror beams that are way outside you normal projection zone and some shows also use 4 and 1 interchangibly it seems. Or am I missing something?

I (and I think also dave) was referring to the zones setup in the scannersafety V2 and V3, but we dont need them because we allready have pangolin's projection zones and attenuation maps.

So we only need to have it to shut down the lasers in case of scanner fail or interlock/emergency.

    Thumbs up

I gotchya; I knew I might be missing something. I took it as it would measure the angle somehow of the projection zone in Pangolin you were "currently" using and if the scanners went outside of that angle it would "fail". I see now.
