Where are you taking your power readings from? Mine are from the module itself, If you are getting losses from the dichros then the module cant be held at fault. The 445 should be the first laser to the scanners as dichros do struggle with 445nm.
    Squat that bug,

One day I'll finish my build.

Since this thread is more about a how to build a quad blue i thought it was better to go somewhere else. Not trying to be rude here please go on and have fun

Tony, i think you misunderstood me,
when i said Dichro's, i meant, the dichro's INSIDE the module itself, used to beamstacking the 4 diode beams,
and yes, i am taking the power measurement directly from the module itself.

Think wires are getting crossed here - by dichros i mean using blue dicro mirrors in the module - better than HR mirror. Not R/G/B beam combining dicro's in projector.

Carlos I got my module then choose own diodes / mirrors / lenses etc from research & assembled - It was not supplied as a kit. I think you need to talk to who assembled / built yours. It's not a big problem to sort / tweak them.

    Edison:

This has everything to do with you, these are YOUR modules we are discussing..

Anyways, if anything, you can learn from all this feedback, and how to be a better builder

since this is only a 1 diode module there shouldn't be any concern over losses from dichros or mirrors..... I have these 2 same exact modules....no problems so far with either of them. If I needed a 3rd blue module I would dafinately not hesitate to grab this one.

Well maybe but the internals from my modules have so much changed that i think your way behind. The modules that i sell don,t even look the same inside.

I even use a different brand of lenses for red and it has a dual driver at the back of the module. I will post a picture this weekend from the new driver

The module that use and sell has a tec plate of 40 x 40 and allignment is rock stable. I sold already a couple of 4 watt blue ones. I will also build a couple of 6 watts to rent out as 6 watt projectors for people that doing shows and have an outdoor show.

In total i worked 2 years on developing my modules. Michelrietveld, hobbybob , vj ernst, slacker, kgb , steve millani, rizard and others have my modules and if they need support they will get that since I build their modules. None of them bought a kit but a complete build module. Michel and Hobbybob supported me all the way in the beginning and the result is that they both have quality modules. Hobby bob has and 8 combiner red, a 2 watt blue and michel has a 1 watt blue and a quad red that will be turned into 637 when fundings are there. As time goes by things have changed quite allot. Like tony mentioned i,m not the builder but that is someting we never agree on. I think it would be polite not to take over someone,s whenever you have a disagreement. I haven,t done that with your posts and i never will. I think we are all adults here and so everyone can have their own space to enjoy this fantastic hobby

Below some pictures what i accomplished so far
The projector is owned by rizard and still needs a red. Starting with 660 or a mix would be nice to fit in the module close to the scanners is the 2 watt blue.

What you have is an old stacking system Very expencive to manufacture also

Thats great, so now you admit, that the smaller tecs you sold as a kit to me, was no good??
You say , now you changed the design to bigger 40mm tecs??

I did not buy your kit to be guinea pig, and now i dont blame the builder,
Rather, the kit you sold me was flawed from the begining.

You see Edison, you were wrong all along , all i was asking for, from the start, was suggestions on how to remedy the problem
    Thanks alot!

    Dilbert:
The dichros came with the kit from edison, not the builder

The new design needed bigger tec so that it improves stabillity. I have build quite a few modules and yes i learned a few things allong the way. 1 thing i learned is that selling kits will only costs more time and effort and everything is to expencive, Even if you can upgrade from a red 660 to start with to 637 and save money people say can you make it 200 usd instead of 225? I dont have allot of money......... Well if that is the case start asking money for doing shows then
Just displaying how the world works

Oh a picture of the new driver that is been developed just came in. It will be mounted on the back of the module
