    Default OSC for remote control

Today I had a play with TouchOSC on my Android phone http://hexler.net/software/touchosc-android (it's also available for iPad/iPhone http://hexler.net/software/touchosc).

By installing the OSCbridge software to my laptop, it's a snap to then control Pangolin (or any other software supporting MIDI). In fact, Beyond supports OSC natively, but I have not tested that.

Simply select the virtual OSCbridge MIDI device and configure the functions you wish via the learn functions just as you would with any physical MIDI controller.

Dan Briggs has already done a very cprehensive set of maps for iPhone and iPad. Do a search for OSC and you should dig up his thread.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound blunt, was on iPhone, so keeping it short and sweet I hate and love those things in equal amounts....

I am trying to sync layouts to Android as we speak. The ability to do so appears to be eluding me...

Its all good. I just feel like a dick when I post old news lol.

I found the standard Keyboard layout can be used to trigger cues. You just need to train the starting key in QS, and use the last key in the 2nd tab (on your TouchOSC interface). This provides access to the first 2/3s of cues on any given page.

I guess we wait. On the upside, Ice Cream Sandwich is reportedly released for the Galaxy II tomorrow... Unless Samsung delay it yet again.

I'm also working on a MIDI/OSC live controller but with the Lemur app, hope to have it ready for Beyond soon
