    Default New laser

I got a 5 watt Millennia Vi OEM system.
2 mm beam,.5 mr divergence.all in a very small head size. the power supply, well thats a bit of a big boat anchor!
It makes my Whitelight ion beam look like a flashlight in comparison.
After working with it for the last few nights, I gotta echo everyone elses words of caution and say, be safe when your working with these or any high power system, they can do serious damage instantly. Take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and others around you.
I look forewards to having fun in the future with it.

Very Nice Nate! I can't wait until next time I swing through California to come see them in person.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.
