Being a holographer, my laser needs are a little bit different, but I have been collecting a bunch of junk over the past 30 years.

    Workhorses:
    Couple of 20 mW He-Ne’s
    Coherent C315M @ 100 mW
    JK/Lumonics Ruby laser, 1 Joule

    Laser Museum:
Any of these may be de-accessed from the collection. Quotation upon request.
    Metrologic 2 mW
    Perkin-Elmer Frequency-Stabilized He-Ne
    Spectra-Physics 120, 124, and 125 He-Ne’s
    Spectra-Physics 185 He-Cd
    Spectra-Physics 164 and 166 Argons
    Coherent Innova 90-K Krypton
    Coherent CR-2 Argon
    Apollo 50 mJ Ruby
    Novatron(?) He-Ne
    Jodon 1576 15 mW He-Ne
Marconi XYZ or whatever he called it 150 mW diode that died; anyone know how to fix it?

O, I forgot to update this...

I tossed in the DIY gloves and got a Kvant Spectrum 1W RGB...

Some pictures of my gear.... these first two are actually sold now.

This last picture is the same laser, with the top cover taken off.

Little coherent compass 115M... awesome laser!!!

This next one is a helium cadmium laser. It lases at 442nm. Liconix 4240N dual discharge head.

Next up are a few helium neon lasers

    Yellow (594nm)

    Green (543nm)

    Red (633nm)

SP 168.... I love this thing.

    Warming up:

    Turned on:

Full view of the laser and the PSU and other various equipment

I have two more of them... Well, this is a 164 and 165, but they use the same tube. These two heads have busted tubes

A few more argon shots... hehe...

Totally blown away by all the blue above! And I recognized the Liconix "House O' Blue Lights" He-Cd, having worked with one many years ago! Unfortunately my 164 is not as healthy as the one posted!

Laserman 532 asked "Hey Ed, In reference to your 185 HeCd...Do you recall who might have sold it to you?" the answer is there was no sale, the way I got it was from a student who was moving out of town and didn't want to cart it with them. He got it while he was working at the famous Chicago geek landmark, American Science and Surplus, and he got to take it home as the store didn't want anything to do with it when they were cleaning out who knows what.

No power supply, no legs for that matter, no hope of running it ever, just a museum piece.

    Default the arsenal

So I have a HUGE list of the lasers I own, I'll start with the high power stuff and work down:

    2-Converted 20-40Watt 532nm Laserscopes w/ Cambridge 6810P scanners
    1-12Watt Medical Copper Vapor Laser
1- 7Watt Spektronika Copper Vapor Laser w/ Cambridge 6810P scanners
1- 5Watt Laser Quantum DPSS Green Laser with Cambridge 6800hp scanners
    1- 5Watt RGB Laser analog, 2Watt's of 457nm Blue, 1.5Watt's of 532nm, and 1.5Watt's of 635nm(CNI Lasers)
2- 3Watt Melles Griot DPSS with Cambridge 6800hp scanners
    1- 1Watt Coherent Enterprise Argon/Krypton on an 8 channel PCAOM w/ Cambridge 6800hp scanners
    2- 500mW Argon/krypton lasers, one with an 8 channel PCAOM w/ Cambridge 6800hp scanners
    5- 300mW DPSS Green Lasers w/ Cambridge 6800hp scanners
    2- 310mW (TTL)Diode/DPSS RGB Lasers w/ 30k Pearl River Scanners(60mW of 532, 100mW of 473, 150mW 635nm
    2-500mW Reliant Air-cooled argons w/ cambridge 6800hp scanners(the old Eclipse laser systems)
    5-ILT 750mW Air-cooled Argons
    1-ILT 250mW Air-cooled krypton
4-Misc Air-cooled argons (spectra Physics, Cyonics, and Uniphase) 100mW-500mW
1-300mW RGB DOME(Laser projector with the Lumasphere 360degree lases out of a normal 6800hp scanners)(was used to show clients the dome laser shows at the old Laser Fantasy)
    1-100mW 473nm Blue Dpss
and about a dozen old DPSS lasers that were 100mW - 300mW but are now less than 100mW(no use to me)

7-Pangolin QM32 cards, from intro to pro
    2-Pangolin QM2000 cards (intro)
    2-X-29/Full auto cards
5-ADAT's converted with the cada mod board

and I'm sure there's some that I'm forgetting.....

If you want any of it, it's all for sale, make me an offer....

    That's a list and a half...lol

Yeah, the reason I asked is that I sold the last running SP 185 HeCd with a brand new plasma tube producing about 200mw of 442nm. It was my personal laser and I needed the cash to pay off my new Yamaha 850 special! I sold it with a spacial filter and collimator...to a holographer, I think it was in or around 1986 0r 88 I thought he was in colorado or new mexico.

They were great lasers...at the time

Some quick trivia questions on the 185's:

When were they produced, approximately? Did they ever have the cavity extenders for etalons like their 125 brethren?

200mW of 442 from a HeCd would be just awesome... Did they use external mirrors?

Mine does about 50mW on a good day....

How long were the 185's compared to my 4240 (since you've seen it, pat)?
