Put the ild files in your software's timeline, for example and merge or save them into one ild file.
This is the simplest way,i think.I use this way,if i need from animated gif to ilda.
I used mamba, but i sold my diy PC USB interface, because i'm goint to buy QS.
I often used the bmp2ild or vectorizer softwares,to create from a pixel graphics bmp file to vector graphic ILD file. And the Mamba also contains tracer in its editor.
But i will not use anymore mamba

I use QS. I also enjoyed these programs. In the QS Quick Trace ray processes vectorizer. I understand you, thank you for your advice. Yes. this way is very time consuming.

IF Im not wrong you can use LASERCAM,

    http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...light=LASERCAM

To create ild files, you can create an ild file from a webcam live feed, a youtube video, and any video source. Im not really sure if you can get the ild file directly from a .gif, but you can make a video with your gif and use the video to get the .ild file.

Let me now if you test this.
