Can anybody identify this set of galvos and driver card?
Driver Card
A view of the Galvos (a slight mishap with one of the mirrors)
Back of a galvo
Another shot of the back
And finally one of the connector cables
Cheers for any help.

They appear to be stripped down version of the model we sell here:

Thanks dave.
Do you happen to have any details on the adjustments for it?
They seem to run great with a dmx/avr controller but when I use my ilda the images are upside down/back to front/inside out etc...
and everything is totally distorted.
Jim
Ill pm you the details.
What are you driving it with anyway? Have you verified the output of your laser software/interface?

I'm using Mamba Black with the Medialas USB box.
I only bought it about a month ago so (brand new) so I expect it is ok although I have no way of verifying this.
Maybe I should ask one of the members in the UK if I can send it to them to test.
I must admit it does seem a little tempermental and I sometimes have to totally reinstall Mamba Black to get it to output anything.

What happens when you scan at a slower speed? Can you invert x and y in mamba?Originally Posted by JimBo

The only invert that I can see is blanking.
Jim
Just a thought, but if you invert +x and -x, +y and -y, they you mirror everything.
The driver card for the galvos uses a common ground for the input, ie. 0v +5v for x and 0v +5v for y rather than -2.5 +2.5v x and -2.5v +2.5v for y.
The avr/dmx card is also 0 +5v outputs with common ground too.
Thinking of that could that be a problem because it will meen that the -2.5v outputs of the Medialas usb will be tied together so the voltage diffderntial will be all to cock.
Jim
Normally ILDA defines +-5V differential (so from -10V to +10V measured between the two poles) and not +-2.5V for X and Y. So perhaps you mean -5v +5v.Originally Posted by JimBo
