Default LaserBoy is known to compile and run in Mac OSX!

Try this and let me know what you get!

The C-Media USB sound chips that are found on the 6 and 8 channel devices commonly used to make LaserBoy DACs are also known to work well in Mac OSX.

All software has a learning curve usually proportional to its capabilities and unique features. Pointing with a mouse is in no way easier than tapping a key.

    Wow!

James and LaserBoy have returned to PL. Perhaps this is a true sign that the end is near and Harold Camping was just off by a year, but Ronald Weinland
    has the real score...

why do people distribute source? I don't want to compile from source... and most mac users don't even know they have a terminal

One very good reason why people distribute with source is that it serves as proof of originality. It is a very accurate record of a kind of public copyright. It also makes it possible for other people to see how it works.

It would be nice if some kind Mac owner would compile this and share the executable with other Mac owners.

Cool! I worked with a guy from Moscow who actually got it to compile before he ever contacted me. Then all we had to do was figure out a few issues with RGB byte order to get it right. Also I had to fix some stuff regarding Boost and Makefile.osx. But he reported that all of it worked in the last release.

Did you get libSDL and Boost? You need those to link!
