I just got back from 2 weeks in Egypt with Mrs and two kids.. was HOTTTTTT (38ish degrees cel) - we are in process of planning our next getaway and I did mention to her I thought a LEM such as this was on the cards

I'll look at some flight prices, Rob.. Dan.. did you search with a particular Airline ? and does anyone know the flight time from the UK ? (Kids, and dad.. get restless)

Ok, here's a little update regarding children.

We are happy at the resort to have children stay free of charge in the rooms. We will have to charge a small amount for food.

We have contacted the company that arranges all our internal transfers to find out what their price breakdown is with regards to age. Once I have this information I will post it.

We can arrange child care whilst the dive boat is out. The dive center is child friendly as Sarah's kid is here most days. I should have my little one by then too. We have several friends on the island that are great with kids and we use them for babysitting. The daytime rate is $6 per hour.

I'm envious of you guys... BA is my favorite airline.

I'm very interested in seeing the response to this from the UK crowd. One of things buffo and I discussed was that this particular LEM event might prove to be of great interest to everyone and also be in a "neutral" location. While I would still like to consider putting together a USA-UK LEM in the UK, this event may satisfy my initial desire and intent of being able to put faces and names together. It's certainly a heck of a lot more reasonably priced.

So... maybe we need to twist some arms and convince everyone that THIS is the "BE ALL - END ALL" of World LEMS that you "abso-frickin-loutely" NEED to attend!

We have three phase onsite and water too. I can arrange CD decks and a mic. Turntables will a bit more tricky.

You've gotta be joking Brad ... Have you ever flown Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific or Thai. Even KLM totally outshine BA. The animals in the hold have more space than those in economy!

Just considering this at the moment, but it sure sounds good... And I've always fancied Scuba diving
