It's a violation of NRC regulations to trade in these without a license. Finished products are a bit different, but you still don't get to resell them. They have to be disposed of properly - and you don't want to get stuck with that bill. The down side of a broken vial at a demonstration might be a bit steep... They're not toys, and if you have any sense you'll just say no.
Maybe your intent is good here but I see no reason for the insult. A glass vial less than 1 cm in diameter and 6" long filled with Tritium gas should have little if any danger unless you deliberately break off the end and sniff it or jam the broken end up some bodily orifice. The tube could easily be enclosed in an enclosure to make it almost unbreakable and that is my intent. I run the Demonstration Facility for USF Physics in Tampa and have over 26 years of experience setting up lecture demonstrations. Your lasers are FAR more dangerous than this stupid tube of gas so cut off the plugs and run. If anyone is I am a qualified buyer and I really don't appreciate the "if you have any sense part". PS I suppose the Jacobs Ladder and Tesla coil are too dangerous too...what about the Van de Graff? Properly and safely sing a 100 mW laser in a classroom is also stupid right? I know maybe I should just show videos of idiots at home doing stupid things from You Tube right? Come ON!

Buying one is far different thaan selling one and I would keep it safe. Most cool demonstrations have some inherent danger; one must use care.

Well after all the debate our RSO here says he will just give me a Tritium powered Exit sign he has in storage so I will not need to buy a tube after all. The hazard is low for these tubes as Exit signs have WAY more gas in them.

Our RSO GIVE will give ME an old Exit sign with 10-20 times the Tritium in is that these tubes have so I have no need to buy one. Your concerns are ridiculous...the tubes are quite safe. I would not sell them either but all the old Exit signs had 10-20 Ci in them! Come ON!

I also would think that fluorescent lights would be more dangerous, given the mercury in them.
