Question re: Crystalaser Output Coupler Coating Failure

Hi All! Just joined this Forum in hopes of learning an expert opinion about our laser's problem. I hope this is the correct forum... if not, please feel free to relocate this post to the proper location on the site and thanks in advance! =)

We have a Crystalaser 532nm Laser Model Number GCL-025-M It is a green laser and apparently we purchased one of the last of that model type from Crystalaser. If it helps... the new Model Number is: CL532-025-L

We just found out that it has an Output Coupler Coating Failure. It was put into use in early 2009 and it was not used extensively.

Do you have any idea what would cause such a failure, how we could ensure that it doesn't fail again and an estimate of how much time and $$$ it would cost to get the coupler re-coated (if possible) or replaced?

If we have to repurchase a similar unit, and you are allowed to do so, can you please PM me alternate manufacturers and model number?
