I've seen that happen with people running Pangolin QM-2000's in remote .net boxes under Windows 7 without the networking patch that Pangolin released. Most notably at the 2010 ILDA conference. Basically the output "stutters" for a brief period. And yeah, it's unprofessional as hell. (Though it doesn't appear to be Pangolin's fault.)

If I remember correctly, the problem is caused by a change that Microsoft made to the networking stack in Windows 7; it broke a few previous applications, including some that .net uses. But there is a patch that should fix the problem. If anyone is having this problem, they should probably contact Pangolin directly for more details.

I see this a lot in LivePro on QM2000.Net, after a few reboots it clears up... Does it in the the preview window as well... I tried the patch with no luck, emailed Pangolin and they had no fix, put it down to my laptop, but I have tried several laptops with no luck... Never did get to the bottom of it... [/THREADJACK]

Amazing production at the festival by the way...

I've had it happen every now and then on Windows XP laptops.
Just a quick reboot fixes it; not a clue what it the cause is. The laptops have no A/V and are not on the net, so not sure what causes it to occur "randomly".
When it is going stuttery, CPU use on 1 core stays at 100% (from LP process).

Same here, it looks like the higest Qm, in my case the pro start stuttering.
I have this issue with win XP, and got nothing to do with the network trotteling patch for vista (this register patch turns off the network throtteling/priority in win 7

Can you all check your network card? Are you all using realtec nic's? Do we have someone with a intel nic also withnesing this issue?

Shall we start a new topic toget to the bottom of this?
