    These kits are not for people already doing sserious holography. Nobody should expect studio quality resumts! For schools teaching courses about light however what a cool fun lab...lat's get students interested in light, lasers, optics, holography; for that these kits could be awesome.

    Looks pretty cool. Might get one if I have some cash lying around when it opens to general public. Considering I just spent $254 on my laser I need to slow down :3.

    Apparently the final batch of test lasers is sitting in a Chinese factory waiting for their national holiday to end, then we should get them some time after that.

    Yep. Mine arrived on Friday.

    I've not managed to make any really decent holograms with it yet- the chemical-free plates need much longer exposures than I'm used to, and my vibration damping is substantially lacking.
