It just seems like on the showspace, only new shows come up for QS, same really on this site. It makes sense price point and all, just seems having the pro version shorts ya a little when it comes to shared content.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
honestly after getting Beyond I do NOT miss LD2k even a little tiny fraction of one bit
I don't feel the FB3 is as good a dac as the QM2k, when I play the same shows out of each one the QM just kind of looks better, I can't explain it... the FB3 is a great device, but the QM is definitely better
LD2k is definitely going to fade away, but thats the price of progress... honestly I am happy to see it go, the workflow in Beyond/QS is so much more intuitive and easy it makes me wonder how I ever dealt with LD2k!
and hey if you don't want your QM anymore I will trade you an FB3 for itlol
It's funny you should mention this. I recently made a load of cues in Beyond with my FB3 and was quite happy with the way they looked and performed. Anyway, to cut a long story short I needed to use my QM for something else, so I hooked it up, did what I had to do and turned it off. OK, so a few days later I start up Beyond and realise that I had my QM still hooked up, instead of disconnecting it for the FB3 I figured I may as well use the QM for that session. What I saw was quite surprising and certainly not really what I expected. It's like you said, it just looks better somehow. The colour pallette certainly looks better and you see subtle changes in colour. What particularly caught my eye was some lovely 'mint' green colours that I just hadn't noticed before. Anyway, just though i'd mention it.
Cheers

Agree with DZ -
The Beyond package may very well equalize the playing field between the QM and FB3 boards somewhere down the road, but for now there is still plenty of quality content out there that was built for, and only plays back on, the LD2000. Granted, not all of it is freely shared on the PangolinShows site, but I think most would agree that in general, a lot more effort and customizing goes into shows created on the LD2000. Many (not all) of the QS shows on the site appear to be creative "recycling" of the native content that comes with the QS suite. Doesn't make them bad, just not quite as "original" as most of the LD2000 shows that are in circulation.
Besides, as DZ mentioned, with Beyond you can run the QS shows on the QM2000, and in the foreseeable future should be able to convert and run existing LD2000 shows as well - as long as a QM2000 remains in the mix!![]()
