NRG RGY won't 'warm up'

I have a NRG200mw RGY laser that has begun to play up. When powered up and supplied with a DMX signal it takes ages to do anything, (if it does at all) sometimes it will randomly wake up, but when the dmx signal is changed it goes off again and does not nothing. The LED lights on the back signalling DMX work, but the LEDS that show R/G lasers do nothing.

Any suggestions where to look first?
