    Quick test with 445, and they seem to do the business with a 405-g-2.

    ~4mm square at aperture and low divergence ( didnt have time to measure, but 1mrad should be expected )

    Because the power depends on the spacing from the diode, a 4X specification is a little vague. Are these specified as -x FL and +4x FL?

    So I am looking at starting to prepare the baseplate for my modules in anticipation for these lenses. What kind of distance do these lenses take up? From back of diode mount to the end of the cylindrical lens setup?

    Hey Rich...See Post #67 for and idea on how to position the Plano's parrallel. I do not know what the fL is !! But that design would cover quite a range. BEAM OUT.
