...I just got off the phone with the new venue manager at the Newton-Conover Auditorium. They hired Olivia, who was Reggie's part-time assistant last spring. So that's cool, because she knows us and trusts us! (Translation, we haven't lost our "in" with the venue.)...

And Olivia is..? the attractive Lady who was up front last year and had some sort of event ging on in the cafateria..? If so, I think her bacon is worth saving.

Not sure yet if we might get a small refund on the cost of this year's event or a promise that the rent won't go up for next year, but I'm hoping for a little of both. Bottom line though - I just wanted to keep Olivia happy and show her that we're flexible. That way (hopefully) they will be flexible with our demands in the future.

Actually, I meant a potential marketing opportunity for some laserists in attendance who might have potential future clients in the other group in attendance...

Looking forward to this class/discussion. I'll probably never use my projector in public but it would be good to know where it is deficient and the process required to make it a legit projector.

Hi all -

I am about half way through making the content for the class but I wanted to let everyone know it looks like it will be on Friday at 530 in one of the upstairs classrooms with an open bar available after. =)

If you want to come, I am currently planning on going through the product report in some detail so please bring a copy to take notes on. Alternately, you can make notes by section but having it in front of you would be easier I think.

Humm.. one question for buffo though... can we get to the classroom upstairs without cutting through the gallery where those people are Friday evening? I thought you got to the steps from the gallery area and I'm guessing we shouldn't be cutting through there.
