Hi guys,

I need some help with uploading a bunch frames I'd like to share.. All of the frames were created by me using Cinema 4d and I don't mind if they're used in other shows.

Hi Dirk! Welcome to PhotonLexicon.

Do you have an FTP client? (Such as SmartFTP?) That's the easiest way to do it. But you need to be a little familiar with FTP software.

If not, then you can use your browser (Such as Firefox or Internet Explorer) to access the site, but it will be a little more cumbersome to do it that way.

Here's how you access the site from Internet Explorer... Click on this link: ftp://ftp.ildaswap.net/ilda/

That will take you to the FTP site. A window will pop up and ask you for a login ID. Enter "ilda" (All lower case, and of course you don't need the "" marks). Below that it will ask for a password. Enter "swap". (Again - all lower case and no quotes.) This should log you into the server.

You'll see lots of folders for various files. Just drag the files you want to upload into the folder that you want to put them in. (Or you can just copy and paste the files.)

I'm sure everyone will appreciate you sharing your files. I assume they're already saved in the ILDA file format, right? And what laser show software do you use? (Just curious; I'm guessing Pangolin, since you said you used Cinema 4D to create them....)

I'm not all too familiar with FTP but I'll do my best to get those frames in there asap.

Oh, and yes.. The files are saved as ILDA files and I'm using Pangolin.

The server is restarted. Some of you ppl had some issues when connecting to the FTP server. It is not recommended to use your internet browser to connect to a FTP server. So, If you want to connect to the ftp.ildaswap.net please use an ftp client as CuteFTP or FlashFXP (direct link for download)
EX: download Flashfxp. Install and run it.
After you have run the FlashFXP, Press F8 (says quick connect)
In "server or url" you type: ftp.ildaswap.net
In "User name" you type: ilda
In "port" is defaul 21, if not type in: 21
In "Password" you type: swap

Now press "connect" you should now see a folder named "ilda"
