Thread: Do your lasers "move"???

    Not sure what to do about a permanent fix. It looks like I will continue to have this issue.

    I do have a small trap door right above the MM1's so its easy for me to adjust as the lasers "move" but the movement isn't very predictable. I had a gig on saturday and I noticed that the movement isn't obvious to anyone which is good. I don't notice until I stop the laser and project a single dot.

    I guess the next thing I can do is add a fan to further cool the lasers but if they already have TEC, will a fan help reduce the movement at all??

    Try mounting a fan to blow on your optics. IT may be those mounts that are heating up enough to move a little.

    We noticed the same issue with our arctos red laser. As a result of probably not cooling it enough, it would go out of alignment over time.....
