Is this the kinda thing you were hoping to emulate?
Is this the kinda thing you were hoping to emulate?
Did a quick test tonighte voila:

I was very pleased with the result. But we gonna try to make it better. We gonna try with 2 pumps (both 230V) and a Y split (reversed) So no big generators or diesel/petrol pumps
Screen is now roughly 4 meters high. Its gonna be better and better :P Still need to make a platform. But that's not gonna be a problem. The guy that works on demolition company is great! Yesterday he found hoses and stuff like a Y split and a 3 way spilt like they use on the fire department. I probably gonna put them on a (dmx) switch so i can program it on and off in my software. Or else i have to switch it on by hand ;P
And here great news for al people from holland. This system will be a sort of mine. I may use it and other people may use it too!!! Just for a small amount so the organization can buy a crate of beer and put something in the club fund. So the volunteers can get something back. Taught that would be nice thing to do
Cheers,
Richard
Richard, your link ends in a error.
I was curious what you have created, but i have to wait a little longer then ......![]()
Keep in mind that wind can reduce screen size in half
that is why you need a strong pump that push a lot of water
more than you gets in a lab conditions
you also want your screen to be high and laser or video projector low. that way the light want get into people eyes.
not just for safety, the light that in your eye level gets in the way of the image that is on the screen

@ Aricha
This test is almost on the exact place where i'm gonna use it on the 15th of september. There was some wind (there is almost of the time) but the screen held very well. Sure it had some effect but for an free product I can't complainWe are gonna try to hook up an second pump so we have more power but for now this is ok thing to work with. Unless there is an hurricane or storm of corse but then the event will be cancelled too...

What size pump did you end up using for the screen?
One of the things I like about this is the fact that it looks clear. I know a few people have said that disrupted water reflects laser better, but I must admit I still like the invisible aspect of clearer screens.
@ Picasso
Don't know exactly have to check the specs for you.Comes out of an factory that burned off. So they where all black
Its clean now but didn't check it yesterday....
looks good
good luck
