Just started to put everything together, will be a 30 minute show. With the pirates show I made for last year (about 9 minutes) and rhythm is a dancer. The rest is new. And all programed by me
Around 9 there is a 15 minute window to do a little test. Hope it's nice weather....
My full HD camera is gonna capture everything, off corse to show you guys

i just checked the calender and see that i'm in Italy, not a bad alternative but i wanted to see it live.
Too bad, i'll see it on youtube then.

Here are the specs of the pump:
KSB Ama Drainer A 411 SE
220/240V 50Hz
1,45Kw 6,65Amp
Pumps 2-28m2/h
We have now 2 working and combined them together. Here a little video of the result so far (and I think also final result for now)
First you see 1 pump. Not so high because there is water leaking thru the other pump. If I close the valve to the second pump the screen is almost 2 times bigger. But if I fire up the second pump... well see it yourself :P
The top of the screen is about 4,5/5 meters high. On the videoclip the screen is a little bit blurry but in real life its a real nice screen. 
Pumps work on 230V and are around 1500W so its even possible to control it with DMX 
In the future we are gonna place the pumps near the screen but for now we leave it like this. (also because of safety and etc.)

I'm all for the 2 pompen... Video Looks very good. Is this still with the fire fighting water deflector?

Jup still that water deflector that fire fighters use
Works best with the biggest hose we got because the pumps will less fight each other then. But the best is without hose at all, the closest to the deflector. Pumps are much more direct and minimal pressure losses.
Still though for between 150 and 200 euro/dollar you got a brand new deflector. Add an Y split and 2 decent pumps and you have your own for around 500 euro/dollar. And if your lucky try to get some second hand or even for free! Like all that you saw in the video above

Well guys it was a succes! Here a video of the show that I did earlier on the evening to warm up the crowd. And that worked! There where people that came back to see the show. Beer and wine was completely sold out. And people yelling: we want more! after the show is always good huh? :P
Video of the whole show is on its way. Still converting/editing and uploading.

Here is the main show:
As usual the camera doesn't always picks up everything. (high contrasts) But beams where more visible than you see on film. Wind was chancing on the second. My brother was again in a boat with a fan and 2 smoke machines. One on the platform near me where I also controlled the pumps. The LEDs movingheads (mac 1010 where of a friend/colleague of my. Gives a nice effect wit the blue and smoke.
If I found more footage online from different positions, I will post it here

By the time the water has shot upward a few meters, the stream will begin to disperse and blend/mist. I don't know if you have already ruled this out, but what if you took a segment of metal tubing, anywhere from a few cm to a few meters long and drilled a series of holes evenly spaced along its length. If the tube had a large diameter, then the pressure drop from one end to the other would be small. The tube could be gently bent to an arc to control the lateral dispersion and the holes could be sized or enlarged with little effort with a simple drill press. A possibility?
