    Default introduce a new low cost spectrometer (450nm and 900nm)

    Function: wavelength measurement for monochromatic light

    Application: Laser wavelength, LED matching, Medical use LED wavelength verification, security system…

    Technical data:
    Supply voltage: 120Vac or 12VDC;
    Operation temperature: -20C to 55C;
    Output from the sensor board: raw data and wavelength (intensity is potential)
    450nm to 900nm wavelength measurement with accuracy of 1 nm; (different sensor can be employed to expand the measurement range)
    Incident light intensity measurement;
    Measurement is independent with incident light intensity;
    LCD displays measurement results;
    Communicate with computers through RS232 ports;
    Sensor can be calibrated with reference LEDs;

    Hi, this product review section is typically for end users reviewing products that they purchase or test. Your last line 'if you are interested'.. is that an offer to send it to someone with a spectrometer to test?

    I'm curious about the technology of that photodiode-looking sensor, can you describe how it works? Interesting product. What is the maximum safe intensity of illumination that will not affect the sensor?
