no, seriously- i happen to have some high powered modules here ready for a build for my company. Im not going to have time to start build before i get to SELEM, so i can bring the modules so they can be seen. Someone (i think Planters) asked about the higher powered KVANTS a week or so ago, so it may be a good demo. its a 5.5W/637 and 8W/445 nice beams.

Plenty of good ideas here. Mainly I just wanted to compare spots on the wall and know what the associated diodes and optics that create them are. But, I'm game for anything. The more data points the better. Even if we can't open up a commercial laser they will be good for comparison points to see how the homebrews compare.

Hell - we could set this up in the gallery (after the artists leave of course) and let people check it out. And yeah, we need to video this so others can see it. (I'd like to keep a copy on my desk for reference!)
