Laser Warning Laser housings and an introduction from myself..

    Hi all,

I thought I'd introduce myself on here. I've been a member for a while getting a feel of the place but now it's time to come out of my shell and introduce myself.

I've been a keen laser enthusiast for years and laser shows integrate into my job as a sound engineer / technical manager for a major festival event. I have some kit which I seem to be forever upgrading and maybe some of you on here can point me in the right direction with a few things.

    I have:
A highly modified 1.2W Max alphalase 2012 with CTI 6210 scanners / micro amp 2's
a home build green with terrascan II galvos
a lot of parts (enough to build another couple of green projectors)
a lot of lasers 20 - 30 DPSS / Diodes, HENE Tubes etc.
    pangolin quickshow / FB3
    medialas mamba 2 / 3 + Hyperport pro dmx
    Touchscreen control system
Home build laser safety E stop system built from an arduino.

As a first pointer can anyone suggest what the best way of going about buying or building an enclosure would be for another RGB unit? I want to move the remaining guts from the alphalase into something bigger where I can mount the laserwave dichros I bought (but can't fit in the original box!).

I hope you're all well and look forward to chatting.

    Andrew

ask winni at goldstar for a price list, they sell empty cases also... But asking rob is not a bad idea

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Thanks for the advice. I've been in email contact with Rob several times actually as I've bought quite a lot of hardware from him but he's re-designing his cases so there's nothing available at this point.

    I'll chase up winni..

    Thanks
