that is the same starter set i started with ;-) in order to save yourself a lot and i mean a lot of money, please return these immediately and stay away from building your own projector.
hehe
if not then here is some advice:
the pt30k is not the fastest set but a nice one to get familiar with the concept, be carefull not to overrun their speed, best between 15 to 25K, graphics will flicker and beam shows should be fine unless you try to select a too wide angle and you will blow up your first set as i did with mine (too fast and too wide) please pay attention to the sound, if you think it makes a different sound then please turn them down or off.
Secondly, ishow is something i replaced by spaghetti, spaghetti is also able to drive the card provided with ishow dac. the pt-itrust board is just an interconnect with some default figures that it will play when no cable and dac is attached.
you will soon realize that decent galvo's are an investment and better to invest now in a decent set than blow these babies up and repurchase some other scanners that just won't do the thing you are dreaming about ;-)
my advice, investigate this forum on the scanset you need for example dragon tiger 30k for beams, 40k for graphics or 40kpro or 40k wide for large angel beams.
Best to be used with rgb analog modules and a decent set of software with dac free of choice but for example quickshow is a nice one to start with from pangolin ;-)
