    Question ILDA Cable/DB25

    Hi all,

I just received my Goldenstar H-RGB1200 and did not think to order a cable to go with it...

ILDA cables are rather expensive when you can find them, and I seem to recall that a DB25 cable is the same thing?

Is that true, and if so, would this cable work?

    Thanks!

Buy the grey ones from C2G, they're slightly more aesthetically pleasing on the rigging

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

http://www.monoprice.com/ Is also a good vendor. I have got a few duds from them but returns are easy and I love the cheap azz overnight shipping in CA.

These guys have a good price for cables. I have ordered a 100ft cable and they cost me 24.00 each. What you want is serial 25 pin 1 to 1 cables. That means the cables have all the pins wired and have no twist. They have f to f, m to m, & f to m ends.

Thanks for all the tips! I ordered the cable in my OP, I haven't tried it out yet as I did find a 3 ft DB25 m/f laying around the house and am using it right now for testing, but I will get the longer one hooked up soon. Great info!
