    Laser Warning Help Needed from an Experienced Laser User

    For an exhibition event here in my hometown, I bought a cheap laser (300$ -China made) and it's been 12 hrs honestly that trying to succeed to draw a simple text to be displayed on this laser but no luck at all so far.

    The software comes with the laser projector called "Laser Controller" is a crap in fact it does not working properly to convert / create ild files under w*n***s 7.

    What I request you either share the working software with me if you have one or please create a text laser show for me which is compatible with that cheap RGB laser. Texts would be;

    "ROBORIDE & INMAK"
    "ROBORIDE ROBOTICS"
    as scrolling or
    if above texts are to long for such a cheap laser device just prepare a text only as;
    "ROBORIDE"
    and text color GREEN would be nice

    This is my responsibility for the firm that I work, and I will be appreciated if someone helps me.

    Thanks in advance
    Mert

    Text is complex.
    With a cheap chinese laser you are either looking at stepper motor scanners or cheap galvo's with low scanspeeds and horrible linearity and such.
    It often requires a high amount of cornerpoints to properly display something and is only capable of scanning at a slow rate on top of that.

    I'd say: save up for a scanset that can do 30kpps.

    I will try to have something for you to try in the morning. I have older software tools that create a more optimized text for slow scanners.
