    Default Right Angle Bracket for Pangolins Actuator

    im making some mounts for a forum member for the pangolin actuator -

    just wondering if i should code it up on the cnc encase there is a general interest from others

    the L bracket would be made from 6mm thick aluminium and would cost £8 each

    if anyone is interested let me know

    I'd be interested, preferably if you could make a version that would support a 1/4-20 mount for the US folks

    ive not got a clue what a 1/4-20 is?

    It's the standard hole size for optical breadboards here in the US (1/4 inch, 20 threads per inch).

    im assuming your refering to the mounting slot?

    1/4 inch = 6.35mm, fook me! why do you americans need to use such a big bolt? surely for such a small mount a 4mm screw is fine?

    Yep... the mounting slot.

    1/4 inch? Beats me, as it does seem kinda extreme for most of what I am bolting down to a breadboard.

    so, with so many folks here related to pangolin directly or indirectly, wouldn't it make sense to run a nice group buy for the VRADs to go along with those nice angle brackets?

    i can see a lot of nice beamtables springing to life after this

    andy, i know it is not your style, but is there any chance to have them anodised?

    The price break for V-Rads starts at quantity 25. Not sure where the next price break is.

    could but if its not a large amount it may really bump the cost up
