    Default +- 24v from a 12v supply

    Hi
    Anyone know if there is a way of getting + - 24v from a 12v power supply
    Maybe some sort of buck boost setup , i am looking to run a scan set from 12 v

    Needs to be 1amp per side output , just like what dave found ,but a bit cheaper

    Thanks edison ,but it has +- 32v output , how would i get it down to 24v ??

    I,m sure it,s changing a value of some resistor that controls the gain from one of the mosfets but you have to ask someone like Badpip or Dave about it because they have more electronic knowledge then i have. I understand how things work but i can,t design electronics. Maybe Dave can buy one or you and ask if they can modify it for you. I think it wouldn,t be too hard.

    Changing a feedback resistor might work, however dropping the output from 32 ( the board states 35v ) down to 24v is a fairly large decrease.

    Might just buy one and try , all the other boost supplies out there are adjustable
    So it cant be that hard, could call in a favour , and get someone in the know take a look at it for me
