The 2 diodes are collimated using a pair of cylindrical lenses which are set up to produce even illumination exiting the PBS cube. I'm not sure what it'll take to get a smaller beam out of this, but if someone wants it to make a tiny RGB projector or even just an 'any-color' laser pointer, I'll sell it along with a spare, mounted red and blue diode for $100 plus shipping.

Are you sure there is an opnext 63133 in there?
I would be interested in one or two if it is not too difficult to get the red out of there (i am ok with the standard LOC "harvesting method"
"its called character briggs..."
