    Dan,

Yes you do need the ESTA as you are traveling through the USA.

The hotel is $44 for one person from what I remember this includes breakfast and transport from the airport to the hotel (probably around $20 for a taxi). So all in all a pretty good deal.

If everyone is staying at the hotel for the night then I can just get the bus to go straight there to pick everyone up.

Yes, you only need to bring US$, smaller bills are better. Make sure they have no rips. We can change in to local currency for you but most places accept them but may not give such a favourable rate. On small purchases this is pretty insignificant.

    Cheers

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    Hey Dan;

The hotel rates are very reasonable. Go to their website (linked above) and check it out. It's like $45 for one person or $66 for two. That includes breakfast.

My flight arrives on Friday at 2:20 in the afternoon. So Marie and I will also need to hang out until Saturday at 11 when the bus comes to take us to the port. (Actually, I think the bus has to come a good bit earlier, since the ferry leaves at 11...) I figured for an extra $66, it was worth getting a hotel room vs trying to sleep in an airport!

Hey Rick - got any good suggestions for food near the airport or near the hotel? Or better yet, would it be feasible for you and/or Sara to join us? Just a thought...

Well, my staff is trying to push for this to happen so we'll see. I just got blindsided with a totally unexpected $5,000 tuition bill today though so, things are still in a bit of a turmoil.

Dan, I have reserved you a room. Just send us and email when you are ready and Sarah will get back to you with the details we need.

Adam, no not really. There is a Wendy's at the airport. To be honest I always eat at the hotel. The food is surprisingly good either in the restaurant or via room service. Very well priced to.
I thought about coming up to meet you all at the hotel but not sure if it fits with what I have going on at the resort. I am trying though!!

Brad, I wish my staff would try and send me on a vacation!! Ha ha, I hope you do get to make it.

Ragdoll, Here is the equipment I have on site
    1x 2W RGB
    2x 1W Blue
    2x 1.5W RB (almost complete)
    2x FB3
    1x QM2000 intro
1x mini smoke machine (I can get my hands on a bigger one if needed)

    Cheers

    Thanks Rich,
As soon as I've cleared this weeks work; I'm on it.

    Re: Bringing stuff...
I'm not going to bring any projectors unfortunately (or any other exotic gas, CuBr, or LSCP's), the cost and insurance is too high.
I can bring a QM.NET Pro + an FB3 if it can be of use?

    Sounds great Dan.

Lets see what other gear may be coming to see if we need extra controllers.

    Cheers
