What will be there in regards to music and related equipmen? Will we be able to do nights on the beach? Any pitch adjustable. CD players and a mixer? Turntables? Power near the beach? Will we use fires for outdoor show? I might bring my 3W RGB with .net or fb3. If laser isnt coming I can still bring .net and fb3. If playing wax is a no go I will bring computer and use that for us. My laser is in an LT 1000 case. 12x12x24". Any extra stands since that might be tricky to bring. I can bring a truss mount on if you use a section of trussing for your stuff.

Hey Mario,

I don;t have any music gear personally except for the a home stereo which works fine for the conference room and the shop area.
I do have friends that have Dj equipment so can arrange for this. It will probably be easiest if we sit down and figure some kind of schedule for the week once everyone is here. That way I will know if there are any parties going on that we could attend or if DJ equipment and other venues will be free.
It maybe safer to bring a laptop with mixing software and music just incase we can;t get hold of the other gear.
I have a couple of cheapo stands here. To be honest I usually stack the laser on beer crates or make some kind of platform to get the height needed. We will have to creative!! No trussing but I can probably source some 50mm/2" tubing - my neighbor has a welding shop if we need to make something for you.
I often run laser (standalone) on one of the other dive center docks when they have BBQ so I can utilize the smoke. Usually works pretty good.
Although I have done a few bits directly on the beach I am not a big fan as the sand gets everywhere!

Will you be bringing cables with the projector and/or controllers?

I'm planning to bring an external hard drive with a bunch of shows to run, but I wasn't planning to bring any other gear. Rich, you have an LD-2000 and a Flashback 3, right? If so, we should be all set. Unless there is something else you think we need?

Yea, we should be all set with your HD full of shows.
A power meter would be nice if you have one that you wouldn't mind bringing. I have no idea if mine is accurate or not.

I will also arrive in Honduras on Friday, Feb 22nd (one day early) 12:18pm and leaving on Sunday, March 3rd (one day later) 1:24pm.

Cool Deal! You will be arriving about 2 hours before my wife and I. Still, we're both staying at the same hotel Friday night, and I think Daniel Briggs is going to be there as well. How about we all do dinner Friday night at the restaurant in the hotel?

Really glad you're bringing LSX. I have a copy as well, but I wasn't planning to bring a laser computer (they're all big desktops) so I won't have it with me.

So if you've got yours, then we can run some of the awesome LSX shows that are out there too. Have you downloaded all the LSX stuff off the FTP server already? Also, do you have any of Swamidog's stuff? Would love to see some of his abstract work live in laser... (I've only seen videos so far, but it looks damned nice.)

One other question for the group: does anyone speak Spanish? I don't speak a word of it, and neither does my wife... I've been assured that it shouldn't matter, but even so I'm a little concerned. (I do speak German, but that's not going to do me any good in Central America!)

I have all the LSX beam shows on disk and will bring 2 EtherDreams for the shows that run 2 heads. Lacking 99% of the music for the shows however.....I will attempt to pry a file from swamidog.....I think he only accepts payment in coprolites right now.
