I can answer for Rich (Neutrino) regarding the diving equipment: He has everything you will need.

In fact, he's even talked about offering a certification class for people who don't already have their card. I've been toying with the notion of doing it, because even though I was certified back in 1985, I lost my card, and NAUI doesn't have microfiche records from that far back, so they can't re-issue a new card. (Figures)

One thing though: the government of Honduras will not allow you to SCUBA with the whale sharks without a special research permit. So for that trip we'll all be in snorkel gear only. But Rich had a couple other dive sites scoped out for our trip, so depending on how things go I might just get back into SCUBA again. (Just what I need - another expensive hobby!)

Will these items be available at location? cat5/ethernet cable x3, hub/switch x3 free ports?

Attempting to fit projector in my one checked bag so all the room I can get is great. If I can talk the girl into also taking my clothes in her bag I will try and fit two.

If not, I can bring an extra router. I get two free checked bags, so I have room to bring extra stuff if needed. However, I'm pretty sure that Rich said he has a router already. (And if not, I'm reasonably sure we could buy one there...)

What do you say, Rich? Do you need me to bring a switch and/or a router? (I've got a 4 port router and an 8 port switch I can bring...)

Oh yeah, one other piece of news: There is a *slight* chance that Aaron (Allthatwhichis) might be able to join us for Caribb-LEM!

    WOOT!

Details to follow in a day or two. He's got a zillion things to work out between now and then, but so far it looks promising...

Sorry for the delay guys. I was on the mainland yesterday sorting some stuff out.

Yes, all dive/snorkel gear is available here onsite. We can talk about diving/snorkeling options when we are all here at the resort. Maybe over a beer or two!

I have a few ethernet cables kicking around - not very long though - and a couple of lynksys routers. Hopefully this will do the trick for you.
I am looking forward to seeing LSX and the etherdream in person.

    Cheers
    Rich

You're at the airport today? Wow - you must have one hell of a long layover somewhere...

My flight doesn't leave until tomorrow morning (22 hours from now).

I'll be looking for you though!

And no worries, Jeremy... We'll take lots of pictures, I promise!
