I head out at midnight, 2 hour stop over in ATL. Only packed one projector, bag at 50 pounds. Woman wont give up any space in her bag. Looks like Im gonna be in shorts all week....

Interesting... You must be flying on Delta. I ended up booking through American Airlines (they were the cheapest out of Charleston), and they offered us two free checked bags each. Probably will only use one though.

I'm packing my stuff now, and it looks like I'll be able to bring a couple extra items, including my new 5 port ILDA splitter with size and position adjustments. (Thanks DZ! This thing is awesome!) Going to throw a spare ILDA cable in there and a couple other small things too just in case.

Also, I decided to go ahead and bring my laptop's docking station with me after all, so I will have one QM-2000 (intro) to add to the mix. I don't have Beyond installed on the laptop (It's an ancient Pentium 3 running XP, so it probably couldn't keep up with Beyond anyway), but I do have a livepro license for that board, so that's cool. And finally, I'm bringing my novation remote zero midi controller so we can play with that too. (Should come in very handy when we go into town to do those live shows at the nightclubs.)

Gonna spend another 30 min or so making sure everything is packed, and then my wife and I are headed out for dinner. Got to get to bed early tonight, because we need to be to the airport by 5:15 tomorow morning. (Ugh - I hope the coffe at the airport is decent...)

    See you all soon!

Well Atlanta Airport sure is an odd place!
They've ballsed up my baggage already, which is nice.
And they've confiscated a few items... Hrm...

Only 11 more hours to kill walking around this place, then the last flight.

I hope that y'all have a great time! Wish that I could have made it.

A few days out in the sun would have been nice. Please keep us apprised as to the events on the LEM.

If you smoked, you'd have something to do!!

I had 13 hrs to kill in Bangkok Airport once, and less than £8 on me.. count yourself lucky!

    Enjoy buddy!

I certainly hope it was something stupid like mouthwash or some other liquid, and not laser related. I got busted for a bottled water in my carry on when I was flying home from FLEM last year. It was in a complimentary bag given to us by the hotel, along with a cookie.

Adam tried very hard to get me to come at the last minute (last night). I'm looking into it but, it's really not looking logistically possible. I probably couldn't get on the island until Monday and would have to leave Wednesday.
