I'll echo what everyone else has said. I'm always amazed and envious that anyone has the free time to do work like that. My only question is... we never hear what you're using these masterpieces for. I know you talked about lighting up a mountain once.

Looking very nice! I hope you can bring it to the NHLEM!
Yes. If we can get something going at MIT then I will bring at least these three. I really want to do this.

No. No free time. No down time. No TV. I design in the car and work very fast. I always have one or two projects running and have constructed telescopes, a university observatory, marine aquaria, an airplane and the building the shop/lab is located in. Recently it has been lasers/projectors, but all of it is fun and each project feeds into another. As an example, the dye laser cooler was once part of a cold water marine set up.

Suffice it to say that I defiantly know that they can. I don't want to go any further than that...

Brilliant idea using razor blades and magnets,so simple and effective it's planted a seed for one of my RGB's that currently has a mac 500 iris on masking duty.Lovely build,it would almost be a shame to take it out and get it dirty!

Planters I salute you for providing the simpliest solution to a problem that I for one have overcomplicated

that thing is gorgeous!! its so clean and nicely done i feel guilty for having used a hack-saw and hand drill to get mine together. next time around ill put more effort into it, however, i dont hold much hope for ever accomplishing something as beautiful as yours. excellent work!!
