Just to confirm, we need only send back the amps and the actual galvo motors correct? Not the block or associated cables?

Should-be, but I don't believe that OSLS, here in the States, will be fielding these for EMS from outside the US... I'd guess you'd have to contact Tom @ EMS, directly... I'm sure the shipping will be less 'painful', that way, as-well..

@ Sir Brad - Yep, but, I'd be sure to, at least, 'zip tie' the motors to the bottom of a box, inside the ship-box, and the amps by the mounting hole... ie: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...2&d=1326481418 ...keeps the mirrors happier..

Is there any word on when Tom may finally be getting these returned? It's been two months.

Yeah, starting to need those back-here, one-version or another, too... Had to write them about mirror-stock, so, also did a 'bump' on that point, and just got:

"They are supposed to have either shipped today or end of next week. Email was a bit unclear as to which Friday and I have not gotten a clarification on the email. "..

..and I'm assuming this means, Tom > OSLS... then, in-turn, OSLS > each-owner, etc.. Not sure of the 'universe' on that / how-quickly they'll turn-around, etc, etc..
    Will-post reply, if / once I get that-clarified...

    Authorized-Update, for the faithful:

"The PL exchange scanners are currently sitting in customs and I expect them to clear by tomorrow, so I think I should have them on Wednesday. This was definitely a learning experience... Bottom line, when sending things in for repair to Greece, do not indicate that is it a repair as that seems to screw customs up royally over there."

This is why I have so little hope for the future. You want to get a scanner or laser from China? Then remember what lies will be useful to avoid delays. You want to get a scanner from Greece repaired and so you send it back to Greece, where a total of 15 people remain employed, then you need to fabricate another deception. The learning experience is how to misrepresent yourself.

Well, I suppose there could-be a 'silver-lining' for the CHappy-Meal pj-importers, due to the 'sequesters' for Customs.. ...'sneek 'em while ya can'?? ...Then again, as-with getting timely replies from Regional Airspace-Specialists on Outdoor show-report sub's, as-of-late, perhaps 'less isn't more'..

...The Guv will be the death of us all.. >_< ..'course, not like that's anything new..
