Default SHG with a "T" shaped cavity

    Hi All,

I had a crash disk and loose all my papers recently, so I'm willing to recuperate some interesting ones if possible

I remember of a paper about a patented green SHG cavity using a "T" shape (with dichroic mirror in the middle of the cavity most probably) but cannot remember the paper name nor the company or authors

If someone (Steve or others) know it, please contact me or give me the paper name, if possible

    Much thanks!

well technically...I dont think it was a T it was more an L. I have seen this design with SHg. If we are talking about the same thing. YOu can search laserscope SHG patents and you will see there is one example of the L never seen the T in those papers tho.

    Hi guys

    Thanks for the help

A friend at Laserfreak has found the info in a corner of his head :

    This is KLASTECH DENICAF design

I was thinking about it when I stumbled upon my old KNBO3 and a 473nm cavity, and was thinking about adding an arm with the KNBO3 to get UV, as seen in the patent... I wonder if power density will be enough for doubling the blue, though...

I'm waiting for some diodes to experiment with...

EDIT : I won the bid on some diodes so experimentation will surely occur soon (all are specified 806nm~810nm, one gain-guided, one small array, and a pack of 8 2 watt c-mount SLD 2370-D... still need a TO3 diode mount though)
